Did your baby transition to the next food before all the prior stage foods were eaten? Maybe baby gagged on that jar of bananas, but you’d bought several jars while shopping. Or perhaps you learned baby only likes Dr. Brown’s bottles and now you have a cabinet full of Avents from your baby shower that you can’t even use.
What are you to do with the extras?
You may bring unopened baby food and formula, and gently used bottles to Mother’s Little Helper, where these items may be donated, or traded for other foods or bottles already in the pantry. Additionally, the pantry may be used to fill the nutritional gap between paydays, or what baby actually needs vs. what you can afford. The pantry also includes diapers, pacifiers, and school supplies. Take what you need, and leave the rest.
