  • Maternity and nursing clothing of all sizes
  • Children’s clothing sized Preemie up to Big Kids size 18 (and at our discretion some junior’s girls and young men’s sizes of clothing)

Do you recall all those things you put on your baby registry?  Well, we buy that.  All of that.  Anything a parent needs to raise a child is what we strive to carry.

  • Toys
  • Books
  • Shoes
  • Baby Gear (such as strollers, high chairs, bouncers, activity jumpers, walkers, bassinets, cribs, changing tables, nursing implements)
  • Any item that has been recalled
  • Any gear whose structural integrity is questionable or missing safety straps
  • Anything that is dirty, smelly, broken, or
    covered in pet hair
  • Toys or games without all their pieces.
  • Car seats of any kind
  • Baby food or formula
  • Used pacifiers
  • Breast pumps except those considered wearable/portable
Simply put, if you wouldn’t buy it in its current condition hanging on a rack or sitting on the shelf in this store, then we will not buy it, either.

Clothing and soft goods donations will be processed like a regular lot: some priced and hung, some to bargain bins, some we donate to other facilities. If your donations fit our mission for Mother's Little Pantry, those items will be placed in the "pantry" and will be free for other parents in the community to take. Pantry items include unopened baby foods, unopened formula, diapers, bottles, pacifiers, school supplies, and other random things we don't sell but that might benefit a family or child. See our blog post for more information on the Pantry.

We gladly accept donations during our regular business hours.

Please do not leave items outside the store when we are not here.

We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

how the buying process works

Bring your items to us following the guidelines below during our regular business hours. We will thoroughly inspect your items, select what we’d like to keep, then we will make you an offer.  This process may take several days depending on how many lots are ahead of yours. If you brought a very small lot, we may process it while you wait. You may choose cash or store credit.  For larger toys or gear items, we offer 40% cash of what we intend to price it.  Clothing and small items can range 10¢ - $10 per item, depending on the brand and what the item is.  Choosing store credit will add 20% to your offer.   We are primarily “buy outright” but may offer to consign pricier items.

There is a limit of 40 items per dropoff. A whole outfit counts as 1 item. Please be selective and choose clothing that is in the best condition.

These guidelines must be followed to get top dollar for your things...

  • Bring clothing and small, loose items in a plastic storage tote with a lid. Don’t worry; you will get your tote back.

Clothing should be:

  • Stain free. Wrinkle free. Pet hair free. Odor free.
  • Buttons, snaps, and zippers closed. (Every single one.)
  • Sashes/bows tied.
  • Draw strings untied.
  • Cinch-waist let out.
  • Velcro free of debris and closed correctly.
  • Lay them completely flat. Not folded. (For larger clothing, fold as few times as possible to fit into bin.)
  • Large items and gear, such as strollers, booster seats, etc. do not need to be in a tote.
  • Fabric items, including the fabric parts of strollers, bassinets, swings, and the like, should be clean or freshly laundered and free of stains, odors, mildew and mold, rips or tears, pilling, extensive wrinkles, and pet hair.
  • The structural part of the gear items, and all toys, should be wiped clean.

Shoes should be:

  • Clean on top and on bottom.
  • Velcro free of debris and closed.
  • Buckles fastened.  Shoelaces tied neatly.

Toys and Gear should be:

  • Wiped clean and fully assembled.
  • All pieces included and contained.
  • The fabric parts of strollers, bassinets, swings, and the like, should be clean or freshly laundered and free of stains, odors, mildew and mold, rips or tears, and pet hair.
  • Are there... Batteries? Cords? Extras?
